Billy grew up surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a holiday timeshare resort in Playa Blanca, where he charmed tourists and locals alike. His adventurous spirit often led him to the Pueblo area of town, where he discovered Guja’s feeding station. But getting there meant crossing a busy, dangerous road - a constant source of worry for those who cared for him.
In December 2024, Billy was found limping badly, and it was clear he needed help. After being rushed to the vet, it was discovered he had suffered a dog bite, requiring stitches and antibiotics. During his recovery, he stayed with Guja, showering her with affection - though, unfortunately, he didn’t quite hit it off with her other cats.

Determined to give Billy a safer, happier life, Guja refused to send him back to the streets and began searching for the perfect family. After months of effort, a wonderful match was found: Susanne Fritz, a kind-hearted woman from Germany, offered Billy his forever home.
While preparations were made for his journey - microchipping, vaccinations, and securing his pet passport - Billy stayed in the loving care of foster parents Margaret and Kevin. The day finally came for Billy to embark on his big adventure. With a mix of nerves and excitement, Guja took him to the airport, where he met his flight buddy, Katja, who ensured his safe travels.

As Billy’s flight took off, an entire community followed his journey, holding their breath in anticipation. When Susanne shared the first photos of Billy arriving safely - snuggled in her arms at the airport - there was an outpouring of joy and relief.

Now, Billy is living his best life in Germany, spoiled and adored by Susanne and her family. Regular updates show him thriving - proof that every step of his journey was worth it.
