Meet Carlos, also known as The Volcano King - a 21-year-old legend who spent his entire life roaming the Volcano area. Sadly, due to severe, ongoing dehydration and advanced osteoarthritis in his spine, we had to bring him in from the wild for his safety and comfort.
Now living indoors, Carlos continues his special diet and treatments - and keeps us entertained daily. Every night is an adventure: he insists on multiple midnight meals, climbs to the highest furniture, and bursts into song. If you’re too slow with the food? He’ll make his displeasure known by peeing on the TV.
Carlos is also a world-class thief. He’s not picky - pizza, chicken, tuna, bread, churros - nothing is safe. If Carlos is in the room, guard your plate at all costs!
Thanks to our amazing supporters and the wonderful charity team led by Guja Tione, we’re able to give seniors like Carlos the retirement they deserve - full of care, comfort, and a little chaos.
