During the lockdown, when everything was closed and the streets were empty, we met many cats who needed us for food and care. Thanks to a special permit from the Town Hall, we were able to keep looking after the colonies, bringing them meals and attention every single day.

Chippy was one of them. In those difficult months, he found in us a lifeline - and we found in him a very special friend.

When the lockdown finally ended, Chippy returned to being the king of the Paseo Marítimo: loved by all the restaurant owners, treated like a true gentleman… served with lobster and king prawns!

His story reminds us how important it is never to abandon those in need, even in the hardest of times.
