Zara was abandoned, unprotected, and left to face motherhood alone. When her five kittens were born, their owner wanted to drown them.
But two elderly neighbours saved all six lives with one act of courage.
They couldn’t keep them, but they kept them alive.

A volunteer opened her home, giving Zara and her babies the safety, love, and warmth they had never known.
Zara has now found her forever family, and her kittens are ready for theirs.
They survived because someone cared.
They have a future because an association was there.
