Trueno was one of the many cats regularly fed by the charity while living in Palmeras Gardens. One day, he suddenly disappeared, leaving his feeder deeply worried. She searched tirelessly until she found him - unable to walk or bear weight on his back leg.
After several vet visits, it was discovered that Trueno had snapped a ligament in his knee. Thankfully, he was able to undergo surgery to repair it. His recovery was long and needed special care, so he was placed in a foster home. Over time, his foster carer fell in love with him and decided to adopt him permanently.
Now, Trueno is living his best life alongside his new feline friend, Gina. Gina originally came in as a foster kitten with her sisters, but after seeing the sweet bond she formed with Trueno, their carer decided to keep her too - giving both cats a forever home, together.
